An all-time favorite, and a definite classic.

And, once again, not even a peep from DC about this. Sigh...

CBR posted an article yesterday showing a 1970s calendar, identifying February 29th as the birthday of both Captain Marvel and Superman.

i just realize that if her Strength is only equal to Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons.then why is it in certain battle's they seem to make her like she's Stronger than Diana or even Donna

Originally, wasn't Mary said to be weaker than Freddie who was likewise weaker than Cap? I may have misremembered something about this....

    Talking Happy International Women's Day!

Which goddesses loan Mary Marvel their awesome powers of grace, strength, skill, flight, beauty and wisdom?

The A's throw everyone off, as they expect Aphrodite or Artemis or Athena...

As for what those goddesses do all day long? Well, once upon a time,
Sivana tricks Mary into wearing earrings that block the lightning bolt's power!

So she asks Selena, Hippolyta, Ariadne, Zephyrus, Aurora and Minerva for a little extra oomph this time!

Proving once more, that science cannot stand up to the power of the gods!! From Mary Marvel #1 1945.

Speaking of being thrown off, what do you think about Zephyrus having more than one gender?

Sure! We need more non-binary representation in comics. But it is kind of funny, it's not mythologically accurate, it's just that the writers stopped kind of paying attention. But I'll take my enby characters where I can get them, since they're so uncommon.

If the comicbook character Zephyrus who loans the comicbook character Mary Marvel the power of Flight adds to more non-binary representation in comics than go for it.

The comicbook character Black Adam gets his powers from the Egyptian Gods:
Shu, Hershef, Amon, Zehuti, Anpu and Menthu.
I take it none of them have more than one gender, right?

I like that BA uses a different pantheon than either Billy and Mary. Makes it more interesting.
