Default Vampire Hunter D vs Superman

These are composite editions of both characters.

Meaning that D gets all his manga feats, while Kal gets all his comic feats, across any and all main continuities for each.

    1. The Arena, standard Rumbles settings

    2. In Metropolis just after sunset

    3. In D's world, just before sunrise

    Who wins?

I mean, D is certainly potent in his own right, but this includes Pre Crisis Superman.

I'm not a expert but I seriously doubt he has anything that can contest with that. I've heard that he "stabbed a black hole" once or something crazy but even that is pretty tame to PC Clark's total package.

As I recall from the feats that have been discussed, the wildest stuff in D canon is in the novels. I don't know how much that differs from the manga. I never finished the manga myself.

My gut feeling is that Composite Superman will notice that he's been in a fight but he's not going to lose this.

    Agreed.

I'm probably gonna mutilate these feats with faulty memory, but iirc:

    D is FTL.
Can resist a black hole's pressure then stab and kill it.
Survives a sun (he's allergic to sunlight) getting teleported inside him.

That's all amazing, but Superman is STUPID FTL and can throw out supernova level force with a sneeze.

Composite includes Superman 1 Million, who has galactic level force vision.

Ok, this sounds like a curbstomp for Supes.

What if only the Pre-COIE (1945-1986) aspect is removed, leaving Golden Age, Post-COIE/Pre-Flashpoint, New52, Rebirth/Current feats intact?

Does it become a stomp in the other direction or is it a more even fight?

Also: what happened to the earlier Vampire Hunter D vs Wonder Woman thread that inspired this one?

Faster then light (reflexes at least) but slower then Wally West by a bunch.

    I /think/.

Although Rebirth Superman has as such not been explicitly shown to be slower than light (and is not quite either Post crisis or New 52 Superman) I dont think he has an explicit feat of FTL reactions either so it comes down to whether D can hurt someone who no sells planet busting

    Crazy.

A few questions. Was he right next to whatever created the explosion, or just on the planet as it exploded? Is this standard stuff for him?

I haven't been following Rebirth except for some of the Doomsday stuff. I guess he also broke a planets surface by jumping recently?

He was just on the planet (underwater) as it exploded. Idk about "standard stuff" but he has been written as pretty high end, generally since the "fusion" of post crisis/n52 . Especially in the Snyder JL run where he took a planet razing shot from multiple (planet) lanterns of the evil galaxy lantern corps, while weakened

He exploded the planet as a side effect of take off, at the dregs of his power

Ok, he is pretty ridiculous currently it sounds like.

D might have a speed edge but I'm not sure if he has any other advantages.
