No. It was one of the several EMPYRE tie-ins that were cancelled due to the pandemic.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually like the idea of there being alternate versions of the team out there just waiting to show up in 616...or have 616 members encounter them in their alt dimensions.

That said, a 616 Squadron Supreme makes sense. Just as long as they don't make it a point to either make them villains, or pack the roster with DC character analogs. Keep the name, lose the homage. Just for the 616 team only.

I wish they would do this. Make them the 616 versions of the 712 characters. Put them on the West Coast.

The whole point of every version of the Squadron Sinister/Supreme was that they were DC analogs. Not sure why you would want Marvel to "lose the homage". I certainly don't want that. It's what makes them interesting and fun to read about.

For those who read the Taskmaster #2, was there any clues on which Hyperion this is?

Yeah getting rid of the Justice League stand in just makes the Squadron a bunch of random heroes frankly.

Which will be interesting to see if certain MCU rumors pan out

Man, Taskmaster #2 bothered me. Talk about getting that sweet MCU rub.

Months, actually. Between 7 or 13. (Unless you consider than the Suicide Squad was a old name team, from 1959)
