Inevitably, a new version from another parallel world will debut.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually like the idea of there being alternate versions of the team out there just waiting to show up in 616...or have 616 members encounter them in their alt dimensions.

That said, a 616 Squadron Supreme makes sense. Just as long as they don't make it a point to either make them villains, or pack the roster with DC character analogs. Keep the name, lose the homage. Just for the 616 team only.

Yeah getting rid of the Justice League stand in just makes the Squadron a bunch of random heroes frankly.
