Or Cates could have the Hammer say "Thor you've held me for a long time.....I don't think you're worthy anymore......Bye" *Hammer Drops*

Oh for Odin's blood! We just went through 5 if not 7 Years of this nonsense.

Why are you doing this Cates?
I think an easy way to look at Thanos stories is that anything written by Jim Starlin, Ron Marz and Keith Giffen is the real Thanos while anything written by other authors should be dismissed as a Thanosi clone.

I have fate in Cates. He snuffed the Inhumans.

But...wouldnt the fact that Loki lifted the hammer indicate that "worthiness" has nothing to do with lifting the hammer anymore? Maybe Cates is moving to retconn continuity in a beneficial way? IDK...

I thought Mar-Vell92 was being paranoid until I saw that CBR's retelling of Jane Foster #9.

And now they are doing the ''Thor is a legacy title'' crap in the MCU.

I don't get why Thor would be exempted from being a legacy title when all the other Avengers have had that treatment at some point as well.

And it isn't like it's a recent development for Thor to be a legacy title either.

Thor is the guy name. It's like calling Ben Reilly the Amazing Peter Parker. And Eric Masterson didn't like being confused with the original Thor. And with all the stories they could adapt, why choosing Aaron's Jobber Thor saga?

This is just me talking about the names, not the story, but

Foster is a pretty cool name in of itself.
Thor's feminine version is Thordis anyway (which is who she was in the what if)
Imagine if it was Foster, Goddess of Thunder or sth?

I remember that story where she failed the test of becoming a goddess and got replaced by Sif as Thor's love interest.

    Hilarious in hindsight.

Was that the one where she started flying, then panicked?

You’d need balls of steel to write the equivalent story now....

Wow. I missed the white queen fight till just then. FFS, man. . . I... I see why you're riled up.
My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.
