    I dont *think* any of these guys have been on an official, sanctioned League team. Fun creative exercise, harder than I expected it to be.

    Superman recruits Nix Uotan. Nix is a god living among men, so he won't forget the little guy or how fragile he is, and Nix has the raw power to get the team home safe.

    Batman recruits Mister Terrific. Bruce knows the League will need a cool head and keen mind to accomplish the mission.

    Wonder Woman recruits Raven, knowing the League will need empathy and understanding to help those in need, as well as the spirit to do what must be done.

    Aquaman recruits Tempest. Leaguer or not, Orin is a king above all else and who better to ensure Atlantis has a voice in events than Garth?

    Flash recruits The Question (Ranee Montoya) because the League needs a clever person who can look at problems from different perspectives, respects the system while recognizing its limitations, and can speak for the common man while reminding everyone else how tough the common man is.

    Green Lantern recruits Star Sapphire Carol Ferris, because she knows that not all threats come from earth or something, how're we kidding? All the Lanterns have lived off earth for so long Carol's about the only person any of them *could* call.

    Cyborg recruits Beast Boy, because Vic knows that what makes the League really operate is teamwork, and Beast Boy knows how to coordinate with and support his allies in a fight. And yeah, they're bro's too. Titans forever. Booyah.

    Martian Manhunter recruits The Blue Man From Pluto, a brand new bald alien superhero who has flight, intangibility, shapeshifting, and telepathy, and a deep love of oreos.

    ....just in case it's not clear, that's J'onn in disguise.

    When this scenario takes place?

    I would say:

    SUPERMAN: Conner Kent (he fought against Superboy Prime etc.)
    BATMAN: I think it will be a mix (Cassandra Cain for fighting, Tim as engineer/detective, Nightwing as leader)
    MARTIAN MANHUNTER: Miss Martian
    AQUAMAN: Aqualad
    WONDER WOMAN: Cassie,Donna
    FLASH: hard to say Wally and Bart were both members of JL, so I choose IRIS WEST II (who is potentially the fastest Flash ever)
    GREEN LANTERN: Teen Lantern
