but could Wanda have feasibly undone the decimation ? there's probably a decent in-text reason as to why she couldn't that im not remembering. But if she couldn't I feel like re-activating the x-gene was a great step towards righting her wrongs, its too bad she suddenly adopted a holier than thou attitude immediately after. AvX Wanda seemed pretty repentant . Re-igniting the gene via phoenix + chaos magic I guess and then actively working to rehabilitate/restore depowered mutants would have worked as an apology
It was said that she needed the Life Force to undo it for all mutants and she didn't have that kind of power anymore. She was able to repower Rictor during the time she still had the Life Force, I think (but I might be wrong on this).

Basically you want fans to have the same energy for High Evolutionary that they have for Scarlet Witch. That will not happen for the reasons I laid out. You cant expect fans to be mad over a 3 issue filler story with no consequences over a defining status quo that affected years worth of story and the characters that had to deal with it.
No. I'm not expecting anyone to be mad about anything. Frankly, I find the people that are still mad about this baffling. I'm expecting people to be logical and reasonable and acknowledge the fact that one of the X-men's current allies has done the exact same thing as the person they're hating did. If you want to place blame, place blame on a mediocre writer that's constantly screwing up characters.

The story is over, it wasn't very good and makes little actual sense. Acknowledge that the story was horrible and move on.

If I remember correctly (and I probably don't) she could re-power mutants, not on a planetary level. So basically they'd have to be brought to her.
Still, it IS a start and with all the big brains the X-teams have, they probably could have at least TRIED to figure out a way to boost or copy that ability ... but they'd rather attack her.

I do wonder if House of M and its fallout could have been avoided had the Avengers apprehended Wanda when she was their problem. She betrayed them killed several teammates and blew up the mansion. At that point, she became a criminal but instead of apprehending her when she was defeated, they just let Magneto (whom was a war terrorist at the time for the Xorn stuff) walk away with her. I dont recall them putting up a fight and chose to just disband, knowing she was psychotic and in the hands of someone to their knowledge had his break with reality. WTF?!? They should have treated her then the way they treated Scott at the end of AvX. By not doing so, they failed her and let it become a much bigger problem with consequences which far exceeded the scope of what she had done to the Avengers

There was some background done here and there and in one what if about their thoughts in terms of Magneto dealing with it.

That was on both teams fault, which is not surprising since it was the start of that cluster f**k that was AvX

Things between them never had a chance to hit bottom. The big issues were never actually dealt with between them before Axis. That said Lorna was able to compartmentalize her feelings about the mutants being depowered over it and everything else pretty well.

Maybe Sinister will make Wanda an artificial mutant like he did himself and all will be forgiven?

Or maybe he'll just use her as a lab rat. Let her dontae herself for Krakoas needs and all will be forgiven.
    The Krakoans are EEEvil!

    THEY MUST BE STOPPED!

Yeah...the chances of that happening are about the same for all this Krakoa business not to die a horrible burning death.

He could just make two clones, one being the lab rat. “Best of both worlds”, as it were.

But that kinda depends on how much villainy one is willing to allow.

Though House of M happened 15 years ago many mutants lost their birthgiven powers and were made human due to this event.
Now that Krakoa is recognised as a nation is it time for mutants to pass judgement on one of the most tragic events in mutant history.
How will the quiet Council of Krakoa judge Wandas actions during House of M ?.
It will be interesting Magnetos' stance towards Wanda now that she isn't his daughter due to the Uncanny Avengers Vol 2 Retcon.
Will the retcon stay or will they return Wanda and Pietro to being mutants.
Honestly, by this logic and considering the “apocalyptic torture porn” the writers have put the mutants through in these last 30 years, you might as well put the whole planet Earth on trial.

Also, is it just me, or are you speaking as if Wanda committed genocide against all the mutants simply by not making them mutant anymore?
