Yeah and that's bad writing too ^ the writer didn't take into account the fact that Magik is a mutant, that she tried to kill wanda in AvX, worked with Cyclops which Wanda didn't really like, and only had them appear together because they are both connected to Magik. Same as Strange Academy.

Magik did far worse than Wanda ever did. She nearly destroyed the universe out of a petty grudge with the Elder Gods. The X-Men attempted to punish her, however she enjoyed it.

But it is not clear. If we are arguing, it is precisely because it is not clear. The comic itself presents the possibility that it was all a Doom lie to protect Wanda because he had developed true feelings for her.

And in that scan they don't even talk to each other, lmao.

It is futile to punish a devil-worshipper.

she actually took acountability and succeeded at stoping a terrible horror and ullyses, and said petty horror was the reason her inocence was destroyed, why inferno happened and why she was brought back after M-day, she didn't cry victim or pretend she wasnt to blame, took responsibility and her punishment because she knew she deserved it, she then spent years working to regain her teammates trust and those conections, so comparing llyana to wanda isn't a compelling argument if you want to defend wanda.

Magik is an actually well written character.

Doom would never get in love and protect the person. He isn't that type, never was.

Clearly they used Doom, because M day was too nonsense and heavy for a character like Wanda.

couldn't find the scan that they talk with each other. but they do talk

    She is not a devil-worshiper, she is a devil-worshiped.

She is the Supreme Sorceress of Limbo so technically that demon from Avengers Academy is under her command.

doom wasn't even on the same plane of existance as wanda when dissasembled was happening, he was stuck in hell, it doesnt make sense for doom either since it contradicts his continuity, but aparently throwing his character under the bus is more acceptable than her?

and quite honestly the woman hates magneto, has a history of mental ilness and reckless use of her powers , im not sure what about M Day is that outside of the realm of possibility.

If the mutants wish to demonize Wanda that is their business, though that propaganda comes from Exodus who has always been jealous of her. She’s attempted to mentor both Pixie and Jean Grey. She’s trying.

throw a villain under the bus? i'm not surprised that hickman is saving face from one of his favorite chaarcters to put all the blame on Wanda

Sure? also it makes no sense doom orchestrated 2 events that brought him no benefit and he wasnt even present to witness them, wanda deserves THE WHOLE blame and the children's crusade retcon was so badly done it deserves to be erased.

I have 0 compassion or care about wanda, but at the end of the day it's not the x-men's writers jobs to make wanda look good or sugar coat her actions, she did what she did.

The truth is, it was never explained what Doom was supposed to gain by deleting 98% of the mutants.

I can understand that Wanda in a mental breakdown wanted to do it to hurt her father but I can't imagine why Doom would do that.

Can I have a poll option for "I don't really care - how is this argument still going on"?

Perhaps the mutants shouldn’t have attempted to murder her niece. They drew first blood.
