The context being the X-men had members who agree to work with Nazi's like HYDRA Steve, and not help the Avengers when the world needed having from Norman Osborn. Had the positions been reversed with the Avengers I wouldn't hear the end of it.
This is hardly a defense. Saying context and making a gif isn't compelling.
No-one's saying she hasn't done good things but Emma's no choir girl by any stretch. There's a reason Kitty hated her for years.
The reason being they'd flip out at Emma because she did a bad thing and she knows it. TP push, as in "taking someone's agency away from them against their will." I despise how she did it, not why she did it.
Emma's not any better she's still doing bad things over the years, like working with HYDRA and Norman Osborn. Emma has never simply been a while collar criminal, she's wasn't doing the Hellfire Club's taxes for the IRS. She was deeply involved in their affairs in attacking the X-men, possessing Storm and manipulating Jean by assisting Wynegarde by gaslighting Jean into being his new lover without her consent/Black Queen and this triggered the Dark Phoenix, as well as Shaw backing government Sentinels after the X-men humiliated him.
Our heroine, ladies and gentlemen.
