I think that's the point - she's not thinking of what's good for other people, or even the people she tried bringing back to life, she's only thinking of herself. She's seen on panel saying that she wants "redemption" and the only way to do that is to do something good that's on as big a scale as the bad thing she did. As usual in fiction, trying to do good deeds for purely selfish reasons doesn't work out.

Now, of course, I would say that Hickman doesn't get Wanda because she would never be that selfish, or that stupid. But he could argue that desperate people do dumb things. Anyway the theme is that you can't redeem yourself if your only goal is to redeem yourself.

Krakao's a government. Frankly, given Wanda's history ove earth years it wouldn't be that strange for them to do exactly that. And she was trying to fix her mistakes, you'd think krakoa would be ok with that but nope. We both know had she asked they wouldn't have done anything, the time of mutants listening to anyone else is over. They've made that incredibly clear.

Completely ignoring about the geopolitical implications of what a nation does, or the problematic aspects of how they run things like a cult. The entitlement of Genosha's citizens by Krakoa is unsettling. Did you read "Powerless"?

    Politely...

    "We" don't know anything.

This is a single reader throwing all of the pasta up against the wall in hopes that something will stick as far as what they seem to believe is actually happening in the books.

Yeah, reread it recently. But please, do tell us what you think went on in kenosha with "Powerless," I'd like to see if that matches what went on in that storyline rather than gaslighting me with no argument in sight.

Put simply, this sort of thing is the exact reason that folks don't have a whole lot of time for this bit.

If you want to discuss everything except the current line of "X" titles?

Maybe start some sort of a thread?

Meanwhile, most folks are probably going to continue to discuss the current slate of titles while wondering why someone seems like they want to discuss anything but that.

"X" fans discussing "X" titles in an "X" forum. Not that odd that most of them are going to want to keep the focus on discussing "X" titles.
