on behalf of the xboards, I want to reiterate thay we dont blame Quickailver in any way, shape or form.
He is more than welcome to Krakoa at any time, sweetie, we forgive you!
We can do that now? We can individualy step forward to speak for the entire board? Cool.

Okay. On behalf of the entire X-board, What Wanda did was regrettable, but we don't blame her given the circumstances and her assistance at restarting the mutant population in AvsX makes up for any wrongdoing she's caused.

    There. Topic over.

Its a sentiment I think Most Mutie Mascots share, made stronger after witnessing the attempts to shackle Wanda's guilt onto him and helping him escape run Free

Is there a trait or chromosome that compells Wanda and her supporters to believe they can end things with 3 words?
    lol
Nice attempt tho dude, but you know The Pretender and those of her Craven Coven have no power here.

Like Scott was saying at the beginning.

Before Stark attacked the Phoenix and caused most of the damage.

Because why listen to the people who had dealt with the Phoenix before or had former Phoenix Hosts among their ranks.

    Why.

If they'd listened to Scott, a Phoenix-possessed Hope would have destroyed the planet like it did to every other planet on its way to Earth. Hell, that's what she almost did until Wanda helped her focus it.

The Avengers may not have handled it well but they were at least showing concern that a cosmic entity known for destroying things was coming to Earth.

What makes you think Pietro would agree with you with this statement? If he was welcome to Krakoa he'd be there so why isn't he? There's loads of guilt to go around for M-Day, and he's at its centre. This fixation to blame everything on Wanda is bizarre.

Nobody speaks for the entire forum. But you're right, Wanda should accept the fact Sinister has more of say than she has over mutant affairs when it comes to Krakoa. He'd certainly know something about evading consequences for mutant genocide and the X-men are on his side at the moment.

Well both Rachel and the Cuckoos were able to contain/control the Force in the past. Also remember that Wolverine, an Avenger, had killing Hope as a big plan to stop the Force.

And we don't know what would have happened should Hope have gotten it in the first place instead of the P5.

Why should Wanda have anything to say over mutant affairs? She's not even a mutant and she almost brought them to the brink of extinction. Sinister, as cuckoo and evil as he is, never did and he's of strategic usefulness. They're making a nation, not a superhero team.

The Sinister/Apocalypse/Wanda comparisons are tired and do not really center the point of the discussion. What Wanda went through is more similar to the P5 situation and in 60 pages no one has found a good excuse for the P5 being sent to jail, hated and ostracized and Wanda getting a pass for everything.

Yes, we love and adore Sinister and Apocalypse, they're great characters.
Sinister got rid of the mutant gene in the Powerless arc but we don't care about that. He's a Claremont creation, is loyal to the x-books and has given us lots of good stories.

Scarlet Witch is a traitor to the x-books having jumped ship to some other book that I cant remember the name of, hasn't been part of any good stories ever and isn't even a mutant any longer.

No matter what argument you put forward, we will never ever stop with this character. There is nothing the writers can do to redeem her. Even if she was thrown in the pit with Sabretooth, it wouldnt be the end of it.

She was a mutant until very recently and that's due to a retcon since Marvel got X-men back it'll be reversed soon, a big part of her life has been defined by being a mutant and people have complained before about Wanda not being deeply involved with mutant culture so why not let her in? She's certainly got more credibility on reason than Exodus or Apocalypse. Sinister is on the Quiet Council, his vote says he has a say in mutant affairs. He's not even a mutant, he stole his x-gene from Thunderbird. Mutant kind can make a nation without giving their worst people the key to their government.

They're great examples to counter the arguments who are levied at Wanda as though she's worse then all of them combined. They all have done things to the X-men, including genocide and attempted genocide, and get a pass. This discussion is about the trial of Wanda Maximoff and any trail without addressing those elephants in the room is a kangaroo court. You want to put Wanda on trial, fine. But they should go first for edibility purposes. They can't point at Wanda while Sinister's in the room having a good ol' time reminiscing about the Morlock Massacre. There are numerous reasons to be upset about the PF, put them all on trial. I'd like to see their defences in the comics for what they did. Wanda didn't get a pass and is getting judged in the comics right now by super-villains like Exodus whose indoctrinating a cult against her.

Let's do this, put Sinister on trial for the Morlock massacre and other activities like in Carey's run. Does attempting to kill every X-man at once count as genocide or is that just mass murder?

haha yes, isn't Exodus great? This cult thing is why he's fast becoming a fan favourite.

Sinister can slaughter hundreds of mutants, we will always forgive him, he's a great character and more importantly an x-character.
I know the concept of a "good story" is alien to an avengers fan, but that's what Mutant Massacre is and we wouldnt change it for the world.

They shouldn't let her in for the exact reasons you listed. Not a mutant, and she was never involved with mutant issues. She doesn't care, why should Krakoa care about her. What kind of credibility does she have? She brings nothing, unlike Exodus, Apocalypse and Sinister who are evil but useful.

The P5 have been on trial. And in prison. But I'm glad we agree that Wanda should be put on trial too.

Sinister is currently a mutant and they have Amnesty.

This is actually a really good and true thing to say. If characters are interesting we forgive them anything. People who hate Wanda are almost always people who never found her interesting before House of M. If she was boring until then, and "No More Mutants" is the most interesting thing she ever did, then of course that defines who she is.

Wanda's fans know she's much more interesting than most X-Characters and has suffered more for being a mutant than most X-Characters, e.g. her house being torched by anti-mutant neighbors while the X-Men were living it up in their privileged existence at Xavier's. But what makes a character interesting is subjective. If HoM is what made her interesting for the first time, then that's who she is.

Like, the house torching and the hating neighbors is a must for all mutants. And the X-Men have gone through so much trauma because of Wanda and because of being mutants that this isn't even funny.

Also, if she was that interesting, even if they tried to sabotage her with M'Day, writers and fans interest would have brought her back eventually. Look at Auntie Emma after IvX.

I mean... they did? It took a while, but she was made to do (out-of-character) things that should have disqualified her from ever being a hero again. A character without fans would just have stayed a villain.

It's a sign of how loyal her fans are that she not only re-emerged as a hero but made it into the MCU as a hero even though Marvel had to share her movie rights with another studio (at the time). Joss Whedon was a Boomer who read Avengers comics in the '70s and he wanted to do the Vision/Wanda romance so bad that he twisted the plot in knots just to get Wanda in the Avengers sequel.

I'm not saying people who find her boring should love her, but people who love her, really love her.
