Be kind, it's FREE
I'd like to also say that the original Brood saga is outstanding. Out. Standing.
I hate them but love when they reappear but I hate them. They have stood the test of time.
"Danielle... I intend to do something rash and violent." - Betsy Braddock
Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
I'd be perfectly fine with the MCU skipping the whole Phoenix saga stuff for the Brood Saga instead. Sure the Brood are a bit like the Xenomorphs, but Disney owns them too now, so it's all good. I would love to see a big budget visualization of Ororo's galactic core feat on the silverscreen!
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
Gah...that Storm/Brood cover...creeps me out as much as when I first saw it as a kid in the mid 90s.
the Brood saga is some creepy ass body horror (*remembers that panels of the X-Men almost at full Brood transformation and being super creeped out by face down Kitty with tentacles coming out from underneath her...or something like that
Which is why they need Jean as the Phoenix. The Phoenix burns away what doesn’t work.
Save Phoenix Jean until phase 4 of the Krakoa era. I bet Hickman COULD do great things with it but AvX destroyed its mythos.
The last photo makes my skin crawl. Nobody likes a sleazoid.
