But I agree, the classic "Worfing" of Logan in an attempt to show how 'cool/badass' Wifi is, is a tired trope.

It’s kind of weird. I mean it’s clearly set up in a comical fashion and not Definitive Proof that Cable is stronger than Logan or more badass. It felt like a “this isn’t your daddy’s Cable/youthful energy Nathaniel” scene to set the tone for the book.

More like tired of the trope. Literally every lazy X-writers way of establishing that their character is important is to have them beat Logan in a fight they have no business winning. I mean Logan takes bigger shots than that for fun yet it KOs him here.

He’s also the guy who wrote a joke told a thousand times over between straight men. Yet some how it’s treated like the panel had them in bed together.

And no I wouldn’t have a problem if he did. It’s the jumping to the most unlikely conclusion of that scene that bothers me.

Squirrel Girl is the Mary Sue of Marvel but then again I hate Bendis and all he did with Logan. Writers just use him for the sake of his popularity which makes other books popular.

Yeah, doesn't make sense have this conversation between lovers. and they don't even touch each other at night and alone
