    Question What do you read when you're going through stuff?

    Hi y'all...Newbie here...can anyone recommend any comics for someone going through a difficult time?

    I dont know what kind of comics or reading you like but when I get down reading humor comics like Archie help pick me up. Goofy and at times slap stick.

    I like to read older classics that I loved.
    There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    Thank you all for your help. I'll take a look at these. I recently read Dini's The Dark Night and it got me thinking about other things to read in that vein.

    Barry Smith Conan, Kirby FF and Thor, Colan Dr. Strange. Steranko Cap. Mostly Silver and Bronze Age Marvel.

    Bone was my first idea, because it really takes you into another world.

    Calvin and Hobbes. Sometimes when the world is a little much, I can't focus on long stories, and newspaper strips are perfect then.

    I was going to recommend Bone also.

    As well as the Oz books Marvel put out several years ago with art by Scottie Young. There's six volumes, I believe.
