I dont know what kind of comics or reading you like but when I get down reading humor comics like Archie help pick me up. Goofy and at times slap stick.
This Post Contains No Artificial Intelligence. It Contains No Human Intelligence Either.
I like to read older classics that I loved.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
When I'm feeling down, these comics always brighten my day...
1. Jeff Smith's Bone:
2. Kevin Maguire's Strikeback:
3. Mary Marvel's Formerly Known as the Justice League from DC Comics:

Bone was my first idea, because it really takes you into another world.
Calvin and Hobbes. Sometimes when the world is a little much, I can't focus on long stories, and newspaper strips are perfect then.

I was going to recommend Bone also.
As well as the Oz books Marvel put out several years ago with art by Scottie Young. There's six volumes, I believe.
