Default Has anyone ever paid Deathstroke to go away?

Alright odd question, but a lot of the time in comics I’ve seen that characters have hired Deathstroke for a variety of different world saving or world ending missions depending on who’s paying him at the time. But my question is has anyone in the middle of a fight ever just pay him to leave? Like clearly they couldn’t beat him so the best they could do was match his price to make him leave?

I’m sure there has to be one rich person in the dc universe who has set aside a anti-Deathstroke budget for the year.

This is pretty much the Robins' MO. Dick paid Deathstroke an extra 10 cents in cash to cancel the hit on Bludhaven police leader and Damian wired an extra to Deathstroke account to save Ducard's granddaughter, both done while they're fighting him, right in front of his would-be victims.

that infamous event in identity crisis could have been avoided if only bruce wayne (not batman) was part of the team who tried to capture dr. light.
