    I have to point this out but why is the standard thread title not being used? I thought this was a new type of contest being started. Can a mod change this?

    BTW, I believe the "CDC" logo refers to Charlton comics' "Capital Distribution Company", not the U.S. Government's Center for Disease Control, which is fighting the current corona virus.

    I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
    A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

    Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
    Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

    Me too! I just popped in to see what this new contest was about and then I read the OP and it's the covers contest. The thread titles have always been consistent for years now. Why did it change??

    The title is a bit deceptive too because it says "classic" Sure we have a lot of those but a lot of recent covers too.
