Even if this was some issue people had long ago, in the age of Krakoa it definitely is moot.

Yup. I would like to peek into Hope’s psyche given that both Bishop and kid!Cable have important roles on Krakoa. And furthermore, what effect does the collective Five’s mental/emotional state have on the Resurrection Protocols since we already know it doesn’t tire them out.

Sure, except they also don't, and also plenty of kids refer to their parents closest friends as uncle or aunt as well. Unless all those people I know who do it are really... hmm.

Plus encompassing all the other text/subtext we have:

-Logan is a Summers-lite now
-Cyclops designed the home connecting Logan to his and Jean’s room, something no other rooms share
-(might be stretching but there’s a LOT of symbolic touching between the two)
-Even under the circumstances that it was just a “gay joke,” Cyclops and Wolverine’s playful flirting with each other is amped up

I was not expecting to enjoy Cable at all. So it is with great surprise that I really liked it!

This book is very hetero, but somehow has enjoyable hetero energy. Like Cable evoking A New Hope poster energy with his sword, going on a double date with Armor & Pixie, fighting a giant monster, fighting icon of masculinity Wolverine in a dojo handled by Silver Samurai being cheered on by Callisto and Gorgon. It’s all very.... postmodern 90s-ism.

This issue was ok, but too expensive for what it was. Glad i didn't spend the $5.00.

That said, I wish we got to see the Dazzler vs Jubilee quarry fight!
