It doesn't, but since it's come up, Yana is the same age (more or less) as Kitty, and Kitty was happily dating Bobby, who is officially three (or is it two? Pretty sure it's three) years younger than Scott.

People are taking this waaaaay too seriously. There was a window for the Scott/Yana relationship to turn into something more than Leader/Reliable Multitasker, but that seems to have closed. OTOH she has a very big sword and is very direct, so if she ever wanted to hack that window the hell open no-one is going to stop her. 8-)

She's not established as anything, but I don't see anything romantic between her and Scott. They have a strong bond of mutual trust and are good friends, but they really don't have anything more. Plus he's old enough to be her father.

The only people who are potential love interests for Magik right now are Sunspot after he breaks up with Deathbird and Doug, and neither has the potential they used to.

Sunspot's love interest is Amara if he remains in New Mutants.

Is it just me or does the way Cyke and Ilyana talk to each other foreshadow some sort of relationship in the far future.Maybe it's the fact that Cyke and Frenzy (two hardboiled warriors) had a thing in AoX .I'm getting that kind of vibe here,nothing in the words but just a feeling
