My wife hates both Old Time Rock n Roll and Brown Eyed Girl from movie overuse.
    Dark does not mean deep.

Heart: Barracuda. It seems to be the go to fight song, especially for women fighting. As seen in Birds of Prey.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Not a movie, but even made it into a Supergirl episode where Livewire was working as a waitress in a diner. No fights though, just her being rude to customers.

Rock 'n Roll Part II. Though not used much anymore, it used to be used A LOT.

I was surprised they used it in Joker. And it didn't even really seem to fit the scene.

    "Who Let The Dogs Out".

It's almost lazy to use this song now.
