I honestly expected sales to be higher. Still good to see them doing well im comparison to the entire industry.

I wonder how the current virus crisis will affect sales. Will they go up? I mean people can still buy this online so quarantine shouldn't be a huge problem

I expected those numbers to be more for Wolverine but I guess it's either the price or the pandemic that laid down the sales for him or it might also be the popularity that has deemed down for the last couple of years.

The pandemic didnt become a major issue until a week or 2 ago. It didnt affect the comics numbers for last month

As for Wolverine, this book did better than House of X, Powers of X and every other Dawn of X #1 save X-men. I really dont know what you expected it to be when not even HoX hit this high

Sales of all comics have been falling in recent months... The dawn of mutants meets the winter of the industry.

He still did great. I think it is because he didn't have a legit solo for what? almost six years?
many people buy purely for habit, without the chance to follow that habit some people can just forget about it.

Did worse than Return of Wolverine but this Wolverine 1 was $8 so people probably said "nah".

Wolverine did pretty well at 8 dollars when comparing him to the other A lister solo books released in the last few months

    Wolverine 1- 190k at $8
    Thor 1- 158k at $5
    Ghost Rider 95k at $5
    Deadpool 1- 83k at $5
    Dr Strange 1- 53k at $4

Well, it's not like he wasn't frequently getting #1s for the last few years. Even Return of Wolverine sold 70k more than that and like Havok83 said it's not pandemic either then I guess it's either price of this book or his popularity.

I think I will choose the latter. Buying an $8 comic within a month isn't really that hard when you can buy two issues of the same comic within a month.

Wolverine usually does bring in the money. I wonder if writers fight over who gets to do Wolverine solo.
