McFarlane is wrong about missing issues. That is exactly the sort of thing that will break a reader's habit.

Yeah. I do enjoy the stories, but I would get hardcore OCD if I had 3-4 issues in digital and the rest in print. It'd likely sour me on the single issue format causing me to move to trades and back issues completely. And I know I'm not alone on that.

I love that they want One shots not to be numbered but rather listed as one shots. I have gooten a few one shots thinking they were the start of a new series.

I'd expect the releases will speed up to catch up but no way will they be able to print all the solicited books to drop in one go.

Those demands are not practical.

New content for a dollar is not a viable model, unless those dollar comics consistently lead readers to high-selling events.

Single issue comics are one of the most over-hyped gimmicks in this fandom. Competently executing a worthwhile idea generally requires more than 20 pages.

Alterna Comics have ditched Diamond and will self-distribute. They also claim Diamond won't resume distribution until August. That means all comics would be four months late.
