Yeah it can be a slog for those unlocks. But honestly I think unlocking Jean is a game changer... LITERALLY. She really helps clear tougher content with better rewards. Even without her uniform she's a powerhouse.

It took me like 6 months to fully rank her up and she most definitely is a game changer

Jean is pretty OP right now in future fight. I have a tier 3 Wolverine and lvl 70 Phoenix Cyclops. Working and leveling Jean though lol.

This game needs time, not much money to get all the mutants, my Jean ranking about 700 and Psylocke 500+, but my Quentin is still Tier1, it's really hard to get his x-gene!

LOL....Husk got like 3 panels of screentime in HoX and died off panel. I didnt expect her here, but maybe if they ever do a Gen X update. That would be a good idea

You're completely wrong lol. Xavier sells in the Danger Room calling for 3500 crystals and Mystique calls for 2500 like Emma and Sabretooth. Sinister is available if you bought the monthly x-gene supply service.
Anyway this update costs a lot if you're a x-fan.

They are all free. Mystique is farmable with crystals. Xavier is also farmable with crystals or you can get him in the DR lootbox. Sinister is the most accessible as he is a free reward for the current faction battle. No money is required for any of these 3 right now

Sorry I haven't get it, I thought "free" means you can get their x-gene in daily mission like Rogue, Dom, etc.
For myself "free" means doesn't cost crystals either lol.
