Do you think Esports will ever become as popular as football, basketball or baseball? Will the finals of say, an Overwatch tournament be viewed by as many people as the Super Bowl?

Even at their peak, a lot of these e-sports games are nowhere close to pulling in the kinds of numbers something like the Superbowl does. And pretty much every e-sports game declines in popularity after a year or two. League of Legends seems to be the exception to the rule.
I don't think E-sports are going anywhere, and you'll have a few carve out a nice space for themselves the way TCGs like Magic: The Gathering have, but they're not surpassing traditional sports any time soon.
Is there any answer other than of course not, don't be silly.
Only if the real athletes can never leave the house again....
OVerwatch League sold out the Barclays Center last summer
so maybe, one day
I don’t think it will ever happen
