    Thanks for the scan.

Sorry, but this explanation is either a colossal joke, or PIS at the CIVILIZATION scale.

Ah, cool, Beast was just repeating out of date information. Thanks for posting that. It's been six months or so, so I'd forgotten that entirely, and only remembered the slow feeding bit, not the 'kill 2 mutants a year' bit that was no longer relevant, so it was a surprise to see it brought up here so casually.

Just another reason I was over the whole Krakoa Era before it even started.

at least read the issues before complaining about something that was already addressed and explained , i mean actually absorb the information and retain it

remember when we had a school on a krakoa, but aparently thousands cant keep the island docile with a mutant capable of communicating with it.

You know a character's gone down a dark path when people are unsure whether he's been replaced by the Dark Beast. LOL

He’s tolerated genocide and voted for the destruction of worlds before, Hank barely gets out of bed for the moral ambiguity of the mutant CIA.

Even if you're only being eaten "a little" YOU'RE STILL BEING EATEN. The idea that "every mutant" would be perfectly content with that is outright LAUGHABLE. It's either more hamfisting of this status quo to force the plot to work, or every single mutant on Krakoa has suddenly shed about 100 IQ points (or is being outright brainwashed) to accept it.

Well, the crap mutants go through off island is a powerful inducement - from stuff like basic rights of citizens often don't apply when a mutant even in supposedly free countries to the multiple genocides they seem go through every few years, and what people can put up with shifts a bit.

No, I’m absolutely sure mutants would be comfortable letting Krakoa eat a minimal amount of something they can’t feel. Psychic energy isn’t linked to IQ (besides that not even being an accurate standard for intellectual level). It’s worse than anything mutants have to face in the world. You have a problem with it, but that doesn’t mean the story should reflect that in order to be objectively good. Hell, the mutants are feeding off of Krakoa. It’s a mutualistic relationship between a living mutant biome and they’re mutant inhabitants.

Exactly. Until we see, ON PANEL, that Krakoa is secretly eating mutants in ADDITION to the agreed-upon low level psychic energy drain (which MAY end up happening, but isn’t yet, by any indication), that low-level drain is symbiotic, a give and take relationship between sentient organisms occupying the same space, not parasitic or predatory.

Plus, I would wager that Sabretooth is fulfilling a good chunk of that energy drain right now in his prison within the island’s ‘core’. And I’m fine with that. Creed is actually potentially serving a purpose and reducing the drain on his fellow mutants instead of just killing and raping and cannibalizing whoever he wants to, whenever he feels like it...

    But haters gonna hate...

Thought Logan was honor bound to be the lone wolf at such gatherings drinking beer and snapping like a sore bear at everyone who dares approach him.

So that's the current X-version of the death penalty? Becoming emergency rations for the island?
