Great list, Toreador. But don't forget Prime, Rune and UltraForce

Totally agree. The '90s were a great time for being a fan of comics (and Erik Larsen's Savage Dragon was no exception):

Does it have to be SUPERhero?

If not, I'd say Atomic Robo and Ghostbusters.

    Otherwise, TMNT.

I remember CGW. Frank Miller provided excellent covers:

Legend! from DarkHorse Comics also had some memorable characters:

I really enjoyed the !mpact line incarnation of the Archie Comics superheroes. Black Hood was a particular favorite of mine.

Yeah, I liked the 2018, as well as the 1965 series, which had Jerry Siegel writing the team as bickering reminiscent of Marvel.

In total agreement with you about Freak Force. Both the 1993 series & the 1997 series were most enjoyable. A truly underrated series:

I have two very different, but completely awesome favorites:

    Venture Brothers

The Guild of Calamitous Intent vs. O.S.I and their oversight of superheroes. Just... so many amazing parodies of heroes in there, and way more continuity and characterization on what may seem like one-off villains that you'd expect.

    And...

Although, to be honest, I'm more about the casting on the teacher's staff than the actual characters.

    The Tick NEC several incarnations.
Although particularly the cast of the Warburton tv series version.
