As if killing Wolverine, screwing Thor out of Mjolnir because..."equality", and turning Hulk into a genocidal nut out to kill all gamma mutates INCLUDING his own friends and family isn't enough, now they're going turn all the heroes bad and the villains good?
Looks like I won't be reading Marvel for a long time with the exception of the new Darth Vader comic. Pray they don't screw that up as well.
It makes sense to promote the hook of a mini-series so readers know what it's about. It's a way of conveying that the second act will be different from the first.
The premise of the X-Men & Avengers teaming up against X-Men & Avengers villains also doesn't seem like enough to justify an event book with Uncanny Avengers on the stands.
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
I have a few theories why Cap, Spiderman, and Nova are the only ones not inverted.
Old Man Rogers(Cap)- It's not going to turn him because he's Captain America and the story will make it that he's to strong willed to be turned. Either that or he's not in the vicinity of whatever changed them because he's in Avengers Mansion
Spiderman- He was inverted already in the series Superior Spiderman, so they may be wary of doing that to him again.
Nova-It's either because they want him to be more popular, which is a reasonable assumption, or they don't want to see a teen hero who's on the Disney channel to be to evil.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
