Default Excluding origin stories, what are the most notable permanent deaths?

What are the most notable permanent deaths, outside of a characters' origin story? Thus, no examples like Uncle Ben.

    Some that come to mind:

    Abomination
    Baron Heinrich Zemo
    Copycat
    Genis-Vell
    George Stacy
    Goliath
    Gwen Stacy
    Hornet
    Jean DeWolff
    Justin Hammer
    Karen Page
    Mar-Vell
    Robert Kelly
    Thunderbird

Of course, comics being what they are, who knows if this ends up getting contradicted later. Anyways, what other notable examples are there?

    Franklin Storm.

I have a feeling that the body count for family, relatives and supporting characters of superheroes (and even supervillains) is going to be high. They're either fridged, bait, in the line of fire, or sacrifice themselves.

Does Mar-Vell count or have there been too many fake Outs?

Pretty sure Skurge has come back in recent years.

Yep, he was active in War of the Realm in Asgardians of the Galaxy.

Although, with Asgardian dead (and other dead gods, as well as many disembodied psychics and mages), the afterlife doesn't preclude them being active.

captain mar-vel still remains the only one to have his death in a graphic novel and all the marvel heroes paying their last respect.

    Marquis of Death

Both reality warper mutants. If you have innate large scale reality warper powers like these two and aren't a hero like these two, odds are you are going to stay super dead or come back heavily depowered.

I did a few blog posts (not just Marvel) on these, limiting myself to deaths that occurred 20+ years ago. I was careful to exclude any Scourge victims brought back by the Hood. Going through those posts excluding characters already mentioned (and I think Ned is back due to Dead No More):

    Blue Eagle
    Captain America/Patriot (Jeffrey Mace)
Changeling (though his death was used as a means to bring back Prof X)
    Enforcer
    Mark Hazard
    Melter
    Nighthawk (Kyle Richmond of Earth-S)
    Nuke (Albert Gaines of Earth-S)
    Red Skull (Arthur Malik)
Scourge of the Underworld (the first one; killed Enforcer, etc)
    Steeplejack (Melvin Plumm)
    Whizzer (Robert Frank)

    To the above I'll add:
Ani-Men (other than the never killed Dragonfly and the revived second Bird-Man)
    Captain America/Spirit of '76
    Foxfire
    Imperial Hydra
    Lamprey
Number One (thinly veiled Richard Nixon)
    Pinball
    Tom Thumb
    Viper (Jordan Dixon)
Zodiac (original human members; Libra survived and things are a bit complicated with Scorpio but the rest were killed by the android members if not sooner).
