Her death clearly wont be permanent and her ongoing takes place in some kind of vague "x amount of time from now"

I don't think it will not even be a temporary death: she is the main character of her own title, so she can't be killed. If anything she can be left at death's door, but at the latest she will be saved in the next issue.

Yeah I really doubt she dies. Either Batman or Catwoman will probably jump into the water and save her. I expect she will be on deaths door rather than actually dead when they find her. Originally Posted by Gotham citizen

Many questions. Will she be able to talk after this? Will she have a scar?How could she survive in muddy water with her throat cut and blood choking? I hope issue 93 and 94 will not be delayed.
I still can 't figure out what's around her leg. Maybe she was tied to something so she couldn't swim.
