Got a kick out it. Best written Sinister since Gillen. His dialogue had me rollin. Still don't give a **** about OM and Nanny. Will say that Scalpy did get kinda screwed...but to say that he didn't have it comin to him would be a lie. Wildchild feels like he's just there cuz they need a feral mutant. Will say that at least with Empath they have proposed an interesting question of his powers making him the way he is. They're setting him and Havok to be the Wild Cards.

Not Bad.

There are other mutants whose power makes them prone to antisocial behaviors like Empath, like Selene or Emplate, but for now they seem to behave.

It was a great start, but I have a few questions though. Why does Wild Child looks like this?, he was so different in the last issue of New Mutants, and Why Empath is blonde now?

That was Wildside that appeared in New Mutants not Wildchild.

I guess the bigger question is where are all of Magneto's mutates and are they allowed on Krakoa?

no, but I don't think the all the other marauders shown are either...she might as well be imo . she has the most distinctive design out of all the marauders idk why they wouldn't use her

This could be, literally, the best start for a mutant series this year. Even better than X-Force and Marauders. It has everything it needs to succeed. The Quiet Council took a decision that will bite them back later and faced actual opposition, which is something people insisted didn't exist in Krakoa. I'm not even mad about Cyclops' portrayal or the way the Council treated him, having him questioning everyone considering listening to Sinister of all people, in something related to managing people and not their DNA, is completely in character and an important element to this book. The dialogue was stellar, Wells really captures everyone's voices perfectly and Segovia's art is a gift.

10/10, easily. I hope it keeps this level of quality.

Well this seems like a giant pile of bad ideas (from the mutants, not necessarily the writer). And letting all of these people be on a team under Sinister so they can be violent towards OTHER people is not a real consequence for their actions. All this really does is emphasize the hypocrisy of the Quiet Council. They've been maiming people left and right in other books for similar reasons and nobody has bat an eye. Scott is, too. He's upset at Alex being in trouble, and upset that they're taking Sinister at his word. Dude, its been months. You can't JUST NOW be getting upset Sinister is in charge.

I agree: this Quiet Council seems to do things as they come along.

It's like they decided this as they didn't find a better solution: what to do with the loonies? Let's create the dirty half-dozen.

Yeah, for most mutants the police have always been an instrument of oppression and savage brutality, it must be a touchy subject for them.

Yeah seeing as how immediate Xavier was to denounce the existence of prisons, it would make sense they wouldn’t want to necessarily put people in charge of policing the community but rather have the community look out for each other. Which real life systems could maaaaaayyyybe learn a thing or two from, but that’s neither here nor there.

I agree. This issue was REALLY good. There where a lot funny elements that I really enjoyed in this issue. And I see that Krakoa is not a paradise for all.

Wild Child unlike most of the Hellions is someone who struggles with his beastly nature and WANTS to be a good/better man as his old Alpha Flight/X-Factor stories revealed he's a very compelling character.
