Is it any coincidence that Alan Davis is a blond himself? Here's his pic.

Alan Davis as an penciller is awesome as usual - but his inking work was not. I am so used to seeing Alan David's pencils paired with Mark Farmer's inks that the art looks weird when it's inked by someone else.
*Swoon*
It is so wonderful to see Alan Davis' tall, sleek, sexy Nightcrawler again. And his version of Rachel! So gorgeous.
This issue should be required reading for any artist who draws Kurt. I didn't recognize the dorky bat-eared twink in Hellions.
What I didn't understand is what was Warlock doing when Cypher asked him to do something? That one was not explained clearly.
Nightcrawler seems a mirage or ghost himself in this issue haunting the readers of the possibilities of this issue that were wasted.
I have to wait until this comes out on Comixology before I decide whether to get it. I don't do floppies anymore. Can't say I'm surprised with the lack of Kurt, actually. I did remember these were going to be annuals and they weren't going to be only focused on the main character. I was hoping the few pages that focused on Kurt there would be some meat that focused on his three-dimensional self but he seems to just be there for some action shots? Its wrong to title this Nightcrawler and I don't care about the reasoning. I don't respect anyone that does tricks like this for you to spend your money, especially with how expensive comics are now. Anyway, Kurt rarely gets focus in this new reboot so people were hoping this would make up for it. Tut, tut , tut.
