Amalgams

I always give myself writing exercises to pass the time at work. My longest running (20 years now) is creating the "perfect" Amalgam universe. My goal was to create 1000. Never did it because I'd always get hung up on something or distracted by another exercise, so I'm going to do it in public to get it out of my head. I'll post a few each day until I'm done.

Matt Murdock + Bruce Wayne= Murdock Wayne aka- Bat Devil Or In his civillan guise everyone would call him "Doc" uses ultility belt equipment in gauntlets, because face it. that's just smart, armored similarly to the way Daredevil was there for a few seconds. Again.... just smart.

Aquaman + Namorita= Rita Curry aka- Aquarita

Hmmm... Vixen + Namorita= Uh.... Beast Girl? Menagarie? Something better maybe.

Dick Grayson + Peter Parker= Spider Knight.- Parker Grayson Batdevil's first protege. Let's say that the spider was mystical instead of being radioactive or genetically altered. Also when faced with a case that is stumping him, he spends all day in a highly vivid lucid dream like states in which he has conversations with those involved in the mystery and they tellhim things sometimes in a cryptic way that he has to unravel when he awakens at night.

Danny Rand + Oliver Queen, combining Danny Powers and training with Oliver's archery and other Mojo to create- Iron Arrow.

The voices say That Iron Arrow is Female. So we will name her Olivia Rand. Her peeps can call her Olly. Her best friend and crime fighting partner is Jeff Cage, an amalgam of Jeff Pierce and Luke Cage and has acquired the powers of both. The field name he uses is Powerfist.

The Green Guardsman is Scotty Stark, An Amalgam of Tony Stark and Alan Scott.

Ms. Impossible- An Amalgam of Impossible man and Ms. Martian- Impass, a very timid and nervous fellow is the most gifted shapeshifter The world of Kerflooey has ever seen and has made him the focus of a lot of unwelcome celebrity and acclaim. More unwelcome by far are the twisted affections and advances of Kerflooey's Royal Daughter who wishes to wed Impass and impregnate him repeatedly. His only alternative is to participate in an experiment testing wormhole travel for individuals Well of course something goes wrong and Impass winds up on Earth, Light years and perhaps even eons away from the desiginated coordinates. The experience has split his Psyche into 2 personalities ( And bestowed him with amazing powers of course, Super streghth, flight , telepathy...) Ms. Impossible or Msim is the default form that he takes. She is jubilient, Heroic, wide eyed and mischivious. Impass exists mainly as a voice in her head... an on board adviser Kind of like Prof Stein and Firestorm

B. I've been shying away from this because I hit my old stumbling block on this, the Titan/X-men thing. The Summers/Grey relationship is always the hardest for me, but I think I've got it:

15. Cheif + Angel = Head Angel
Negative Man + Ice Man = Negative Temperature Man

16. Robot Man II + Proefessor X = Professor Techs AKA Robot-X
17. Mento + Marvel Girl = Mental Girl
18. Elasti-girl + Changeling = Changeling Lass

19. Beast Boy + Cyclops = Mythological-Beast Boy AKA Chimera (has 'gorgon vision' and can change into mythical animals)

20. Deathstroke + Mr. Sinister = Mr. Death, the Sinisterminator
21. Terra I + Madelyne Pryor = Terra Queen
22. Terra II + Rachel Summers = Terra Marvel
23. Jericho + Nate Grey = Jerich-X
24. Firebird + White Queen = Sapphire Bird

The Owl and The Penquin= a Mastermind crime boss with a better name than I can come up with. The best I've come up with is Oswald Owlsley- Thought of one- Osprey Leland Osprey- Not certain if that is how its spelled but I do like that the Last 4 letters spell Prey.

Woe Hawk( An amalgam of Wolverine and Hawkman.... Recognized Flamebird as true love from past life.... Creates friction between he and Cy of course)

Shadow Kitten( Kitty Pryde + Selina Kyle.... Has to hold breath to use phasing powers. Former and probably Future Sneak thief. Mad Hand to hand, surveillance, burglary and tech chops. Was hung out to dry by her former partner and step sister Gambit Cat. Rescued from prosecution and recruited in to Titan Flight)Has a thing going on With Parker Grayson- my afore mentioned Spiderman and Nightwing amalgam who I am calling Spider Knight. He teams with Titan Flight pretty frequently and is being aggressively recruited by...

Dr. Errol S. Foxx(A mish mash of Starfox, Max Lord, when he ran with the good guys and Charles Xavier) - He was once a Super powered operative( Foxlord) but injuries have left him in a wheel chair and any heavy use of his powers a danger to himself and others. He may be Flamebird's biological father but neither of them know.
