Can't believe I'll use it as a reference, but Joker in the Harley Quinn cartoon actually referenced this very thing; he only cared about Batman, NOT the man under the cowl. And was royally pissed off at Scarecrow for removing the cowl, to the point he killed Crane.

I've always liked the idea that he knows but just doesn't care. He's so obsessed with Batman that his mind does't let him acknowledge the man behind the cowl. As far as he's concerned, they're two separate people. Needless to say, I'm not a big fan of him and this Punchline chick now using Bruce's secret ID against him.

I say no. But if he does, it should just be part of the joke he finds Hillarious and plays along with. It should never even occur to him to use it strategically.
