Another great issue. Broo is now "the man!" Yu's art was really effective this issue.
I loved the simple resolution to the Brood problem...although going by the data page...there could possibly be another King Egg out there somewhere, in production.

It was nice seeing Corsair fighting alongside his three sons.

Given Bro’s new position as King of the Brood and his status as Agent of Wakanda, it’d be awesome to see him call in the force of the Brood to protect the Earth from the Kree and Skrull during Empyre.
Did anyone notice the setup that the Brood absorb the information of those they consume, and then later on it makes it a point to show the Accuser falling into the Brood-filled Acanti? There's a ton of seeds being planted. That King Egg bit at the very end was ominous.
Absolutely amazing issue, Hickman keeps delivering.
Just a couple of questions that I'm sure I simply didn't get and are not the issue's fault:
1- Why didn't Broo just eat the egg when they were on Krakoa and end it there ?
2-How come the Kree made a weapon meant to destroy cosmic empires and the resolution is simply to eat it ?
3- What's from stopping anyone from simply eating the egg and instead of being attacked by the swarm of Brood trying to destroy the egg, they use it against those who tried to destroy their empire in the first place ?
1. It seems he did it as a desperate attempt to stop the attack. They were originally going to get rid of it so he likely wasn't planning to become their King.
2. Good question.
3. Perhaps when the Egg appears, the plan is for the Accusers to automatically try to retrieve it. But they kinda suck at that it seems.

Perhaps the Shi'ar did not really know what the egg was. They only knew that it was dangerous and that they had to keep it away from the Kree and Brood but not how it worked.
Literally came to comment about this I'm not sure if I forgot or miss read but the Brood hierarchy was Empress> Firstborn>Queen>Dwarf Queen>Drone. I take it this is the first time this has been mentioned I'm not as caught up on my Brood history as I'd like. But if not else I gotta say Hickman's world building is unparalleled it is crazy the number of ongoing plots, mysteries, and character work he has all running together. It's also a treat to have all the things that are happening within the X-men actually matter and connect to one another.
