I think ASM 8 The Tribute to Teenagers issue is pretty different. No real bad guy just a robot that isnt really evil but out of control (Okay that is not different) But the fight with Flash and his run in with Johnny. A fun read. No real Super villain or criminals just light hearted fun.

And ASM 38 Just a Guy Named Joe - The bad guy if you can call him that is not in his right mind. Not evil but just confused. There was no big villain going to jail scene, in fact Joe doesnt go to jail because a movie studio agrees to pay for the damages. Everything comes out okay in the end. A happy ending for the villain.
Favorite teams. Alpha Flight, Avengers, Fantastic Four, West Coast Avengers, Justice Society of America, Legion of Superheroes.

Pull List - Lois Lane, Amazing Mary Jane, Black Cat, Doctor Doom, Gwen Stacy, Jane Foster Valkyrie, Morbius Savage Avengers, Strike Force, Something Is Killing The Children

This series has definitely been off-beat since the very beginning.
