Does anyone here use Discord?

I love this site and I am having a good time with it. But since I am online a whole hell of a lot these days I wanted to see if anyone on here used the online messaging service Discord? I thought it would be fun to chat more one on one with the people on here. There are a lot of fun people here so I thought I would give it a try. if not thats cool. if the mods dont like the idea of this thread I understand and wont be upset if they take it down.

I've been using Discord for a while now. Primarily, I use it as a social extension for Clash of Clans. I run a clan, and we set up a Discord server because it's so much better than the in-game chat feature. We set up different channels on our server; everything from strategies to plain old open chat.

Discord does have a lot of nice features; I'm still learning.

Yeah, I use Discord a lot. It's awesome for keeping up with friends and chatting about stuff I like, from video games to technology stuff. I joined a bunch of chat groups there. Once, I found this cool website that lists tons of Discord groups you can join. I found one called "The Basement" that's all about talking crypto, which I'm pretty into these days.

If you're thinking about chatting more with folks from here, you should definitely put your chat group on that website I mentioned, the Discord Advertising Site. It's a great way to find more people who might want to join in. It helped me find some really cool groups, so it could do the same for your group too.

I find it useful for that, watching Rifftrax with friends, and playing Magic the Gathering. That and keeping in touch with friends who have moved/after I moved here to florida.

I was during Covid when we were only playing roleplaying games online. But now that we meet in person again and do tabletop games, I removed it because it was just using up too much space (or whatever the correct term is). A friend of mine also just removed it because it was slowing everything else down so much.
