I like to see Thanos with a black lantern ring.
I'd like to see the best Marvel/DC heroes team up against the Anti-Monitor with the Living Tribunal, Eternity, Galactus and Uatu the Watcher involved.
Forget the Avengers, the Justice League, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men as separate teams have them all together facing the same epic threat.
I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.

Yes, but better to pretend that it did not.
Yes, this would be very cool. I'd like to see Darkseid get something powerful from the Marvel side, but I think the cosmic cube or Infinity Gauntlet might be too much. Perhaps the Gem of Cytorak or perhaps he can wield more than one of those gems.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
I'd prefer if it was an actual team-up story, but I'd be on board seeing:
- Lobo vs. She Hulk
- Green Lantern Hal Jordan vs. the Human Torch
- Magik vs. Green Lantern Kyle Rayner
- Sif vs. Starfire
- Wonder Woman vs. Thor
- Big Barda and Mr. Miracle vs. Reed Richards and Sue Storm (I feel like this would just end in a double date and I would gladly read it)
- Black Widow vs. Black Lightning
- Cyclops vs. Batman (because why not?)
- Black Panther vs. Wildcat
- Ant-Man vs. Deadshot
- Spider-Man vs. Firestorm
But if there was a team-up between the heroes of Marvel and heroes of DC, there is one thing I must see come out of it...

Darkseid already got his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet back in JLA/Avengers, but it didn't work outside of the Marvel Universe:
Dude literally tosses it like it's trash. LOL.

The fight that I'd really pay to see is Sam Wilson (The Falcon) vs. John Stewart (Green Lantern). Both were considered "stand-ins" at one point, yet one emerged to be far more popular than his predecessor. I suspect the dialogue between the two would be scathingly meta.
War Machine vs. John Stewart would be the second battle that I wouldn't mind seeing.

But worked in the ultraverse for a year just fine. Then again they said there was no speed force in the mcu when quasar showed there was.
I'm no longer interested in seeing hero vs. hero anymore. It's been done to death by each company and between the companies.
Villain vs. villain actually sounds more interesting as does Marvel heroes vs. DC villains and DC heroes vs. Marvel villains.
In any event, I want the heroes of both companies to team up and interact in depth forming friendships rather than wasting 75% of the story fighting each other just to team up anyway.
You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back.
"You're not the better one, Peter. You're just older."

Villains vs villains! I like that. Sounds like Marvel & DC's version of D&D's Blood War between the Lawful Evil devils and the Chaotic Evil demons.

The problem with villain vs. villain is that you know the last persons standing will be Lex Luther and Doctor Doom. Gods, cosmic types, supernatural embodiments of evil...all of them will somehow fall off the chessboard, leaving the two most predictable characters to carve up the pie. And they probably won't even fight each other. They'll say they planned the alliance all along and toast themselves as the story ends.
