I’m curious about ‘Berto’s time as Citizen V - What are the best issues to see him in action?
And also did we ever see Citizen X or was that just an exit tease?

In his capacity as leader of AIM Avengers team, Sunspot is an x-emplary x-ample of what his generation of heroes need to do to remain relevant. Evolve beyond being a graduate class from Xaviers and play a role in the larger Marvel Universe beyond the X-Verse. In that sense Roberto Is one of the most successful.



Also my favorite of his costumes (aside from the off color mask) is his Graduation suit. The deep v-neck is appropriate for a Brasilian heartthrob stereotype ‘Berto represents. And culturally Brazil has to be one of the most Body/Sex positive cultures out there. Combine that with his power effect via his skin eclipsing....yeah Mr DaCosta, show us more!

Did they ever increase his durability. I always thought he should be Thing's level when it comes to durability.

Ya in New Avengers written by Hickman he survived a bomb blast meant to blow up a building and during his fight with the Scientist Supreme of AIM he survived a fall from fairly high up while flying and still got up unharmed. My question is did his reflexes and speed increase? For him to catch that spear in New Mutants thrown by Gladiator he would have to have moved at super human speed.

Given Gladiators strength wouldn’t the speed and velocity have been ridiculous? He killed someone just by spitting at them, spit went thru the person like a bullet. He thru the spear with killing intent.

BFF Sunspot and Cannonball decide to join the Avengers. I laugh so hard how Hickman gives them subtle gay undertones. So many SHIP them but to old school me, they are brothers. Brothers forever.
