Now that's a point... Family Guy was a 20th Century Fox Television show (that is, the production company, not the Fox network). Which means Disney (Marvel's owner) now owns it... so I suppose they won't be able to use DC characters any more?

The Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio film, Catch Me If You Can, has scenes where you see plenty of 1960’s Flash comics.
It’s based on a true story, and because of the Flash comics, Tom Hanks’ character thought he was hunting a much younger person than what Leonardo DiCaprio’s character actually was.

That episode bugs me as Jim Parsons gets the Lantern oath wrong during it. He uses the words 'in darkest night' as opposed to 'in blackest night'. A rookie error that a super nerd like Sheldon would spot immediately.

Although when I think about it, the fact that that bothers me is probably the point that I admit that I need help
