    I'm a bit worried that Wong seems to be conflating Alice and Red Alice. Alice is the bad one. The "competent character is bad at everyday tasks" trope is minor here, but still annoys me just in general.

    It's good that Beth's story is being followed up on three years later, though. And the fact that Kate is cooking and both twins are dressed up is a good sign; the unlettered pages show Renee arriving, so it's possible that before the Anti-Oracle attack, she was coming over for dinner.

    Yeah, now that you mention it, I thought it was weird they used "Red Alice."

    (Also her hair looks a lot like CW Alice).
