    8. General "Thunderbolt" Ross' Love Of Cigars

    7. Tony Stark's Alcoholism

    6. Sexualising Black Widow

    5. F-Bombs

    4. Recasting Rhodey

    3. "Thunderstruck"

    2. Captain America Punches Hitler

Bob Iger achieved the unimaginable in belittling the MCU. He should have put that in his book instead of saying Marvel was too edgy.

I kinda think black widow has been sexualized in every move one way or the other really all female superheroes have.

That seems like a lot of BS to me, though there haven't been any sex scenes similar to the one mentioned in Iron Man we did get scenes like this:

And Sam Jackson's post credit line was a definite implied f-bomb, and you can bet your bottom dollar they'd be willing to recast if an actor wanted more money, especially if they were just a supporting role.

Why does Gary Shandling's muffled F bomb count but the cut short F bombs from the Phase 3 movies not count?

I thought he dropped an F bomb in Captain Marvel wasn't till after I saw online he said Mother Flurkin. But yea MCU has never dropped an fbomb. Aunt mays and Furys two scene are closer imo then the scene from Ironman 2.

I kind of doubt we'd get a scene like the one of her changing in to her costume like we did in IM2. Maybe there have been some butt shots here and there (although I don't think that much).

The MCU had Aunt May utter an f-bomb. Of all people. Remember that time back in the Ditko/Lee era when Aunt May regularly uttered f-bombs? Nor do I.

Are F-bombs necessary for a movie to be good?

Are people being forced to watch MCU movies? Like, the pathological vitriol that still flies suggests people are strapped to a chair in someone’s basement underneath a poster of Mickey Mouse and being forced to watch The Dark World etc.

You don’t have to watch these movies.

Tell that to the mouse, who is just making me watch all MCU movies one after another^^
Don't try to counter the OP made-up stuff with facts. That ship has sailed a long time ago. If the OP made YouTube videos with this made-up stuff he would at least get clicks and perhaps some money out of it, but posting this again and again is just sad.

I would like to think that Thor's "He's adopted" joke in "Avengers" wouldn't fly today. As someone who's life was positively affected by the practice of adoption, there have been so many cheap jokes about children of adoption as being "bad seeds" or not "really" being family, this joke hurt and took me out of the movie. It's been a stigma for so long and I think culture has been more sensitive to families of adoption that the old cheap jabs seem outdated. Or at least I would hope so.

Is this thread part of the greatest franchise thread, I had no clue MCU had become so restricted. Its more of a kid friendly franchise.

It is only restricted like this in the OPs version of reality.

Would have liked to see something like this from the OP regarding the Fox X-Men movies. But that would be against certain bias.
