Yup Avengers 47. Probably missed an opportunity to get a better condition a few months back but I picked up a copy at my LCS for 12 bucks. I first read the character during the team jacket days of the 90's. Glad to have issue 47 in the personal collection now.

Was great seeing the Black Knight again in an issue including Marvel's greatest. I liked the idea of him using the sword of light and the shield of night but after the Ebony Blade recent story lines, I am kinda surprised. I hope he ends up in Secret Wars and then in the Avengers. I don't think Marvel is going to use MI13 much.

^I'm pretty sure the Ebony Blade is at least temporarily gone because of the events in Original Sins #2. Maybe Dane took the author's advice and handed it over to SHIELD. Who knows, we might get a story about it later! I can just imagine Couslon geeking out about it.

What Black Knight weapon would you want Dane to wield if he was to become an Avenger?

At first I would have picked Ebony Blade, but after SHIELD, I think Sword of Light/Shield of Night would fit better in the Avengers. The curse could get tiresome after a while. Maybe the fact that Dane is a Pendragon could open up some new story lines for him.

Hey guys, I'm a fan of BK and just started to get back on these boards. Just wondering, while I love BK's original look and costume, I thought his new costume and weapons in H4H were cool too. Anyone feel this way or am I the only one who liked that series with Dane in it?
