Infinity war. Cheat scene showing hulk racing into battle.

Onward is missing most of the "fairy tales at work" jokes from the trailers and the second unicorn trash can joke was cut from the trailers.

Inspector gadget--Half the trailer is not in the movie!


Ninja turtles 90--Turtles shells popping out of the water and manhole cover flies up.

Tangled--The she throws him out of the tower in her hair and she slings him back up like a yo yo was cut. It was in every trailer and tv spot and they even had a movie poster on the scene and they cut it!

He-man and she-ra: Secret of the sword-- Orko is on one the movie posters and in the music video based on the song from the film! He is not in the movie at all! Not a deleted scene but a cheat!

ROTS-Scene of Anakin walking down a corridor in the Jedi temple during Order 66. This was after he just killed Shaak Ti.


TFA- "Who are you?"-Maz "I'm no one".-Rey. Also Maz giving the lightsaber to Leia.


Rogue One-the trailers shows a lot of stuff that didn't end up in the film, or was altered during reshoots..." I rebel" Saw's "What will happen" monologue, her walking up to the TIE fighter, Krennic on the ground during the battle, Vader looking at the Death Star screen etc.

Others:

Poltergeist-Shows extra footage from the scene where they're looking at the ghosts captured on tape. One shows Diane reacting to something on the screen: "That thing is in there with my baby!". In the full scene, this was intended to be the Beast, appearing as an old man who stares directly at the camera. This idea would later be reused for Poltergeist 2. There's also extra dialogue of the doctor saying there are hundreds of ghosts in the house.

Star Trek (2009 reboot) "The wait is over"-In the film's deleted scenes Nero and his crew are actually captured by the Klingons after George Kirk disables the Narada, and held in prison for decades. Wait is over would've happened when he escapes with his men.

Incredible Hulk-Bruce and Samson having a conversation or therapy session. Given the two's relationship in the comics it's a pity this was cut


LOTR also had quite a few scenes that made it to the trailers but didn't make it to either the theatrical or extended versions: "We will see the Shire again" for example.

I'd still like to see THIS movie. Interestingly enough, the trailer for the VHS/DVD release is the same just with all of the tk/portal/magic stuff replaced with actual scenes from the movie.

But yeah here you have:
Connor splitting Kell in two and both halves becomes a whole Kell
Connor and Duncan jumping out of a portal
Kell stopping in midair a MacLeod sword hurled at him, with tk apparently
Connor's head screaming inside of a clear orb that Kell blows on and it explodes

It was just mentioned, but the first thing that came to my mind was the trailer of "Rogue One" implying Jyn Erso squaring off against a Tie-fighter with only a pistol. It was the thing I most wanted to see in the movie, but of course they went a different way with it. (anyone know how that scene was even supposed to play out?)

In the trailer for the first Wolverine movie, there's a quick shot of a little girl that most fans assumed was Storm, but she wasn't in the released movie.

A TIE does shoot at her when she's on the tower in the movie, but it's a different type, is further away etc.

Wonder if maybe it was Krennic in the TIE? As noted it seemed like in some of the scenes he would have a more active role in the battle on the ground.

In the trailer for the first Wolverine movie, there's a quick shot of a little girl that most fans assumed was Storm, but she wasn't in the released movie.

Star Trek: First Contact's first teaser trailer. Sure, it had footage from Generations, TNG, and DS9 spliced in there with actual scenes from the movie (since it's a teaser), but the short footage of Voyager battling the Cube is unique to the trailers. A draft of the movie had Voyager encounter the Cube (well before the Borg joined the show), briefly doing battle with it before the Cube shows up for the iconic Battle of Sector 001. But while the idea was eventually cut from future drafts of the script, the scene was filmed specifically for the trailers and not for the movie, so it's not necessarily a deleted scene.

Some Trek trailers were kind of weird that way at times (Although the series as a whole is no stranger to recycled footage). "Final Frontier" used effects from Star Trek III and IV in it's trailers to represent the Enterprise and Bird of Prey (Possibly because the film's effects had their own problems).


The teaser for Generations likewise had a lot of random effects from TNG and possibly DS9. The weirdest one is the Bozeman from Cause and effect showing up!
