I'm going with Shalla Bal this week.

Honorable mentions go out to Tami and worstblogever.

    Shalla Bal for me too.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    That is an excellent cover.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Shalla Bal, for a really great looking, um, ah, whatever that thing was.

I shall be sleeping away when the contest concludes, so if someone is awake then and wants to assume the task of tabulating the votes in my stead, feel free to do so, with my thanks. Otherwise, if everyone can live with the suspense overnight, I'll do it in the morning. Thanks to all for submitting a wide range of ideas, and thanks too to all who voted.

I've never asked, but what time does the voting officially end? I'm in Central time, and it is 12:27, but I wasn't sure if we go by Pacific time. But I'm doing the vote, cause I'm here and awake.

With 1 vote each we have foxley, Kirby101, Moon Ronin, PaulBullion, Ravin' Ray, Speed Force, Tami, wortsblogever
with 2 votes we have Greg Hatcher, WestPhillyPunisher
With 4 votes we have Guicho

But our winner, with 5 votes is Shalla Bal .

Congratulations for that win and that cover which probably does resemble working from home these days. It would also make for an interesting Zoom background.

I think it goes by Pacific Time too but not sure. I think it makes it fair so that those who live out west get time to vote

    * Just peeked at the rules on the first post, it ends 3am EST so that's 2am CST

My God, read the rules? Who would've thought to do that?

So you all have another hour to vote if there are more to alter anything. I am going to bed though. So someone else will need to decide the final tally if more votes.
