JSA by Goyer, Johns and Robinson (W/Hawkman by Geoff Johns)
    Starman by Robinson
    Sandman by Neil Gaiman
    Swamp Thing by Alan Moore
    Roy Thomas' All-Star Squadron/Infinity Inc.

All relatively long runs with Swamp Thing being the shortest at 44 issues. I did cheat a bit by joining a couple titles, but I think it's fair. I am several of my favorite smaller stories, but if I'm going to be on a desert island, length was something I wanted to consider.

    GREEN LANTERN by Johns
    LEGION OF SUPERHEROES by Levitz
    LEGION OF SUPERHEROES by Giffen/Bierbaums
    ACTION COMICS by Byrne
    THE QUESTION by O'Neil

Man, that's five already? Certain things that I might have liked more didn't get chosen because they were much shorter so I was being a bit strategic there...

If I had the misfortune of being in this situation, I would have to prioritize whatever's longest over absolute favorites. If I was trapped on a desert Island, a "solid" 100 issue run is probably more handy than a great 20 issue run.

    Paul Levitz Legion of Superheroes
    Marv Wolfman New Teen Titans/Titans
    Mike Grell Warlord
    Dick Dillin Justice League
    The Flash Mark Waid

    Oof. Just 5 runs...

I’m in a bit of a pre-Crisis mood, so I think I’ll go with 5 from that era.

Gerry Conway’s run on Batman & Tec (these were basically the same book, crossing into each other every 2 weeks)
Doug Moench’s run on Batman & Tec (same thing)
Roy Thomas’s runs on All-Star Squadron & Infinity Inc. I still pretend these all happened on Earth 2
Conway & Thomas’s run on Wonder Woman. Stellar overlooked era for my favorite character in all of fiction.
Wolfman/Perez run on New Teen Titans....
I’m going to really cheat here and bring my 6th with Levitz’s run on Legion of Superheroes up to issue 300.

Ugh. This is so hard. So many good books back then. Couldn’t even touch the Wolfman/Kane Action Comics run, the Bates/Infantino Flash run, Wolfman’s Green Lantern, the Barr & Aparo Brave & the Bold run, the Starlin/Wein DC Comics Presents, Kane’s Superman specials, Batman & the Outsiders, the Kane Atom minis. Ugh.

Just whatever you do, don't bring that Green Lantern comic with the polar bear, to the island!
    Cause....
