Yes...if I can't have SM:ItS then The Dragon Prince animation style is a really good art direction for XM.

I'd rather they bring back and finish WatX which is probably ten years too late..
I agree, but from a business standpoint it makes a lot more sense to bring back the 90's show. WatX wasn't around long enough to develop a significant following while TAS still remains popular 20 years after its cancellation. Fans will be guaranteed to tune in if it gets revived.

A little more detail
I never understood the generation that wore shorts over their sweats would joke about underwear (which was more like what Wrestlers wear) over spandex.

Oh yeah, for Wolvie too. (it looks too yellow now though lol. But looks nicer in the black-n-white because the artist did the proportions better.)

It seems like they're using these designs as style guides for the X-Men.
IKR!? It was fine back in the 70's-90's but it just looks so stupid now from a real-world and MU design perspective. I firmly believe in designing for 'the now' not 'the past'.
HoX Wolverine is the perfect example of how successful design can be accomplished by re-using elements of the past and updating them for the present.
