Gravity for sure.
Surveillance starring Bill Pullmann, an actor I never liked much but he's great in this twisted fairy tale about hunting a serial killer
Depends on the movie for me, and what kind of nostalgia I'm feeling. Most Disney movies get talked about, though ones like Bedknobs and Broomsticks get looked over (and B&B was easily one of my favorites as a kid).
3 Ninjas movies I enjoyed, even with all the over the top cheese in them. Yes, even Mega Mountain (the one with Hulk Hogan in it).
The Rugrats films are some others.
Return to Oz
Better off Dead
One Crazy Summer
I'm sure there's more, these ones just came immediately into my head.
"They can be a great people Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you. My only son." - Jor-El
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
Starship Troopers
Highlander

I would have said Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and B+T's Bogus Journey but the new sequel has that back on people's lips.
Lucky Number Slevin. Josh Hartnett, Lucy Liu, Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis and more in one of the most tightly written movies I have ever seen. Almost every single word and shot matters.
Memento. Yes, it's gimmick makes it. But it's still a brilliantly done film.
Looper. Rian Johnson before he was the most divisive filmmaker of a generation. Good, fun sci-fi. And it has Joseph Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis.
Brick. Another Rian Johnson. Hard boiled detective story set in a suburban high school environment. Maybe the single best performance from Joseph Gordon Levitt I've ever seen. Seriously, more people need to see this movie.
Hot Shots Part Deux! and Evil Dead (2013).
