Yeah, that's true for all these digital first comics (Aqauman's still has him as king, Flash's Iris is black like the TV show, etc.)

Yeah, these are all closer to the digital anthology Sensation Comics from a few years back then the mainline books.

Anyone read this week's issue yet? Really fun issue and features a team-up with Zatanna.

As much as I prefer long multiyear runs, there's something about these one-in-dones I've come to appreciate (along with some issues of the Superman: Man of Tomorrow digital series).

Fun issue today. Of the team-up issues with other characters (Harley and Lois) this is the best one so far in my opinion.

Compared to where the main book has been for a while by this point, I've tended to find myself enjoying these more than it's counterpart. Different expectations I guess.

Good issue today, feels like one of the stronger ones so far.

Queen of Fables was in it, so that was nice given I thought from solicitations it was going to be another generic.

It was a nice read, definitely leagues better then the main title right now. If I had one criticism it would be the sword and shield, but at this point its a nitpick versus ruining a story.

I liked that she at least tossed them aside and used the lasso to dispel the fake wolves in the beginning.

There is plenty to like in the late Agent of Peace stories, like the way it is implied that Yuri is a trans woman. But I also think the art all to often is generic, and there are small quality stuff that bothers me. Like that the image of Stockholm in this issue is nowhere close to Stockholm's famous skyline, or the way Zatanna is too much of an airhead in #15, or the way Amelia Earhart's plane in #14 is all wrong.

I can’t speak to the Stockholm skyline but I think I actually preferred the art for this issue over what’s been going on in the main book recently. Though last issue Diana and Zatanna did look a bit “off” to me.

Main takeaway from this week's issue was apparently Diana has a WW mobile in this continuity.

Man issue 17 felt like a huge drop in quality. The interaction between Etta and Di was good at least but everything else was just bad. Diana once again a street leveler, Failing to hold off canon fodder, The "annoying millennial" trope, Its all just bad imo

In some ways, this feels like a throwback to Golden Age Wonder Woman. Not much of a world-building, more focus on Diana trying to solve the problem rather than punching her way through it, hardly any powers on display, lots of focus on personal interaction.

But the personal interaction never really gels together, and Effie don't hang together as a character.

The art never really worked for me. I thought I recognised the linework, and it was Isaac Goodhart who also did Under the Moon—A Catwoman Tale, which I really liked. His style worked much better in that book, and I think it's partially due to the colouring style, but his Diana on page 12 (making a phone call to Etta) just looks odd.
