As a longtime fan of Archie's Girls, I'll join in on the B & V sub-theme!

Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
There was a B & V cover I very nearly went with before deciding I liked the Doc Savage more. If it doesn't show up during the contest, I'll post it after it ends. If it does show during the contest, I'll probably vote for it.
This one is so wonderfully outrageous, with all the modern photophakery and parody covers out there, I admit I had to double check to make sure it was real.
To my delight, no modern adept could make this stuff up.

Hillary was right!
Sadly Rex the Wonder Dog never went skiing, at least not that I could find.
But I did find Lancelot Link.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
