Ooh. Good list.
I'd buy a book with most/all of those too!

Power Girl or Giganta.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Absolute Power, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Birds of Prey, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Justice Society of America, Shazam, Titans, & Wonder Woman.
Ah, Giganta!
Y’know, if turning villains into heroes weren’t done to death in comics (and Wonder Woman didn’t need every actually good villain she can get for her so-so rogues gallery), I’d be super into a series w. her as at least a tweener. She is just an awesome character.

In the past I probably but now-NO ONE.
Mainly on the ground of how much they do in that book.
Take Sideways #4 with Hotspot-something told me to NOT buy that book. I looked at in the store. He was in it to have Teen Titans bashed by the villain & be mention as a former Titan on tv.
Which would later be a knee to the groin as SUperman didn't know who was in Heroes in Crisis (book edited by the same editor for Sideways).
Lets not forget Savage Hawkman #7 with a blink if you miss Static sighting.
Titans (fab 5)
Tim Drake
Guy Gardner, I've read Red Lanterns because of him and I'm glad I did it. Great book by Charles Soule.
Kyle Rayner, Omega men and I'm glad I did it too. One of the best work by Tom King.

If Stargirl or any member of the Knight family show up, or Nightwing, or Cyborg, the odds of me buying a book increases a lot.
I used to say the same about Superman (his appearance in the first Jaime Beetle book is what got me to try that title) but Clark is used to job to the main character so often I now tend to avoid such appearances.
I used to grab any book that had Wally West in it, but....recent years have made me want to avoid such things since I've already witnessed the poor guy get abused enough.
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."
~ Black Panther.
I'd say the JSA and/or its members, but after the Justice/Doom War mess, I'm leery of getting into even a so-called Guest star appearance which turns into non-story non-events. DC's keeping me very much wanting to stick with only the few books I collect as you're never really sure what you're getting.
Aquaman
Mera
Orion of the New Gods
Sometimes Hawkman, depends

Mine is a pretty short list these days:
Manhunter (Kate Spencer)
Booster Gold
The Flash
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
dr. fate
and spectre
if those 2 are guest starring in a title , you know some serious shit is going down
Someone mentioned Hal Jordan in the JLA...I'm the same way, traditionally I haven't been into the team unless it has the Hal, Ollie, Canary trio, so...its's not on my reading list.
Some of the major silver age Charlton Heroes, The Question (Vic Sage) Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) and the Peacemaker, who hardly gets any exposure in DC
A lot of female heroines Zantanna, Black Canary, Huntress, Power Girl
Magical heroes, John Constantine, Dr. Occult, The Shining Knight
Red Arrow (Roy Harper) Hawk & Dove, Mr. Miracle,
The original Global Guardians line up & cameo's by certain JSA members
Villians
Gentlemen Jim Ghost & the Shade
Anti Monitor/Psycho Pirate & I like vacation trips to Apocalypse, Captain Boomerang, Bronze Tiger, Count Vertigo, Slingshot
I tried getting into the new Legion, but for whatever reason I just wasn't feeling it, but if they bring back the Time Trapper or Legion of Super Villains, it might end up in my hand at the comic shop.
Power Girl
Any prominent JSA member
Fire and Ice
Lois Lane
Green Arrow/Black Canary
Arthur Curry
Mera
Strong chance: Superman, Nightwing (they show up a lot so it's case-by-case).
Obscure Bat-Villains.
I will buy a book to see more obscure bat-foes.
Conner Kent, Cassie Sandsmark, Bart Allen, Max Mercury, Zatanna, Jay Garrick...
