I'm European, we just can not get out heads around when people from America say they are something other than American, it doesn't make sense to us, there's no bias at all, how dare you!
I'm sure Europeans understand, they rep their countries/cities/clubs hard lol

WTF? These are clones with their own original DNA. They are the same ethnicity they were prior to death. Like no one is going to look at them and think of them as representation for the latinx community

I donīt think so given he said me otherwise, he and I were just sharing our pov about that.

Well just like you said "Iīam European" so we can better understand where you are coming from and your pov, people from America say the country they come from or their heritage if they live in the US. I dare because I am used to give my own pov, just like you are used to give yours. Sorry if I offendend you but imo thereīs no need to make a bigger deal of this than it has to be.

I'm European(Portuguese Angolan to be exact) and I understand why 3rd generation immigrants still identify as with their ancestors country

Thank you for sharing this , I understand itīs different for each migrant and his/her own experiences, the immigrant people I know identify in some way with their country of origin or try to know more about it if they get interested, of course this is not the case for all but itīs not rare.

Formally I describe myself as Hispanic American and my family comes from Puerto Rico. But I'll also just say I'm Puerto Rican for brevity.

gambitxremy and I already discussed the issue, I donīt need or see the point to derail the thread more than it already has been.

You know this is the topic of the thread, right?

And yes, of course you're avoiding the point, because you can't provide receipts as their aren't any.
