Lady Sif (she may not be the #1 woman in Thor's life, but I could definitely write epics with her as the center of my universe)
Karnilla (bad girls who always seem to do the right thing for love are a personal weakness)

Rachel Summers was definitely one of my favourite characters back in the eighties before Excalibur
Wonder-Man was a favourite for a long time because of Shooter's Avengers
Loki under Simonson's pen was fantastic, though I accept he's a totally different character now
Magik was a fave back in the eighties New Mutants
